What's On The Other Side?

Updated: May 4, 2023

Recently, I've been talking to God and asking Him this question, "What's on the other side?"

What is on the other side that the enemy is fighting so hard for me not to see?" "What is it that he doesn't want me to receive?" "What's on the other side of the distractions he throws my way?""Why does the enemy wants me to delay and move in fear and hesitation?"

If you read my last post then you know March was a struggle month for me. I had a hard time focusing on the things I knew God called me to do. I had to push myself a little harder in completing daily tasks. There were times all I wanted to do was lay in bed. When it was time for me to pray and spend time with God, my Spirit was willing but my flesh was weak; and sometimes my flesh won. However, despite it all, the Holy Spirit had mercy on me. He strengthened me and gave me the power (by His Spirit) to triumph over the enemy and his attacks. Luke 10:19.

In the midst of it all, I believe I heard God answer my questions. He said to me, "On the other side is a promise." As I sit here God reminded me of the vision He showed me at the beginning of the year. It was Him and I walking together, holding hands, smiling, skipping, and enjoying this journey of life together. As we were walking, in front of us was a door, and on the other side of that door were the promises of God.

Many people may not see the other side but, I believe you will. I believe what's on the other side of your struggle or persecution for Christ is a blessing. Matthew 5:10-12. There are dreams and desires God has given you. He has shown you visions. He spoke to you. Those weren't in vain. He didn't give you those desires for no reason. He's a purposeful God. He is not a man that He shall lie.

I believe every promise will be fulfilled 2 Corinthians 1:20. I believe that every way is already made. Every desire He has regarding your life will be your reality. The Bible says God's plans for us are good. They are to prosper. Jeremiah 29:11.The Bible declares God was the one that started the good work in you and He will be faithful (loyal, constant, devoted) to finish what He started until the end. Philippians 1:6

Who saw the other side? Jesus did. The Bible declares "... Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross." Hebrews 12:2. Jesus had His eyes and His heart on us. He knew we needed a Savior. Jesus saw the other side of His obedience. Through it all, He saw us reconciled with the Father. He saw restoration. He saw me and He saw you. Jesus saw the veil being torn and He saw us running to the Father. Because of His sacrifice, we are now able to see and be on the other side. Thank you, Lord!

I believe we're closer than ever.

Let's go and see what's on the other side, together.
