Green: Growth

Hi everyone! Welcome to APinchofFashion. I am very excited about this outfit! It's by far one of my favorite looks from this series so far. First I must admit, this outfit is all God's doing. God put this whole outfit together. I brought the pants first because it was on sale, and they were running out of my size. I loved the color and texture of the pants, as well as the lace-up detail. When I first saw these pants in person, I had no idea what to wear on top. Should I do white or green? Black was not an option.

I figured this kind of green would be hard to find in a shirt or blouse. BUT GOD! I went back to the site and went searching. I soon found this top, and it matched perfectly! Only God! Go Jesus!

I love the mock neck as well because it's versatile. It can be worn both summer and winter. In the winter, I can easily layer add a cardigan or blazer. Gold jewelry was a must. It elevated the look and as a result it looks more expensive. With an outfit like this, that's bold in color, it's best to do a simple shoe. You don't want to overdo it. A simple shoe creates a well-balanced, classy, clean, and well-put-together outfit.

I love the way God inspired this outfit. I am so pleased.

God, you did it again!

Green is the fourth color in the rainbow. It represents growth. As the Holy Spirit and I recently relaunch APinchofJesus, I have been reflecting on my life these past few years. I've been looking at old pictures and reading old journals I wrote to God and I thank God for growth. I thank God for being so patient with me. That in the times I didn't trust Him or believed what He said, He has never stopped loving me. He never stopped molding and shaping me. I thank God He used those times and moments as an opportunity for me to grow in my faith and fall deeper in love with Him.

"And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness." Colossians 2:6-7
